We are off to a good start and good weather with this January.
We would like to welcome Jamie Gould to our
staff of flight instructors. Jamie has spent the last few seasons working
up in the high Arctic flying Bell 407's. Jamie's Arctic experience
adds another dimension of learning for all our students.
Congratulations to instructor Mischa Gelb.
Mischa's been with us for many years and just moved up to the highest level of
instructor rating... the coveted class 1 level.
Welcome to our new students starting this January.
This group ranges from Western Canada to Romania, Ireland and Denmark.

We are very pleased to have Craig Joiner come on board as one of our flight
instructors. Craig is a Class 1 Instructor with 25 years in the helicopter
industry and a depth of commercial and teaching experience that will be
appreciated by staff and students.
Oct/07 Student Update
With the good weather we have had during the last few weeks, Jess, Mike, Aaron,
Pierre and Travis were able to complete their long solo cross country navigation
trips via Harrison Lake, Tipella, Pemberton, Whistler and Squamish. Hats off to
Pierre for including the busy Vancouver Harbor control zone on his trip.
Aug/07 Sale of C-GMCI to Norm
Berard of Mission
Congratulations to Norm for the purchase of a brand
new 2007 Schweizer 300 CBi. Norm bought this aircraft while it was still
at the factory. After ferrying the aircraft 35 hours from Elmira New York
it was a pleasure to present this aircraft to Norm who promptly flew away into
the sunset and has been spotted many times since flying all over the Fraser
Valley.

May/07 Sale of C-FLBI and Grad for Jamie Dunwoody
Congratulations
to Jamie on graduating with a commerical helicopter licence this May and
purchasing an almost new 2007 Schweizer 300CBi C-FLBI with only 330 hours on it.
Jamie has been flying steadily through the summer and will be completing our
mountain course this fall. I hope you are looking forward to making some
amazing landings on our local mountain tops!
May/07.. Five Mowat Family members
Graduate
Congratulations Mowat's! We had the honor of attending a family celebration as
all five Mowat members were presented with their Commercial Pilot Licence
Certificates. The graduates are standing in front of their helicopter C-FBNJ a
2005 Schweizer CBi at Dallas Mowat's house near Fort Langley. From left to right
and I believe in the order of graduation.. Dallas Mowat (father), Ryan, Mischa(
their flight instructor), Kim, Chad and Scott. Congradulations Mischa on a
job well done.
