June 2010- SPOT Update
BC Helicopters is now utilizing the amazing satellite technology of SPOT. We have outfitted our entire fleet with the new and improved SPOT units that allow us to track real time on a satellite map where our helicopters are. Our students can send us messages in flight if they are going to be late, if they are going to be diverting to a different area due to poor weather conditions, or even send distress help messages to us telling us they need assistance. We are very excited about this reliable tracking system. This adds yet another important safety feature to our training program.

October 2009
We had a fantastic time at our annual camping trip this year. We took three heli's across the "great blue" to Victoria where we stopped for fuel. Then we proceeded to the West Coast of the island, our final destination where we set up camp for the night. We enjoyed campfire food followed by smores until even the thought of another made our stomaches hurt. This led to campfire stories which had us laughing so hard we were rolling in the sand. All in all a memory none of are soon to forget.
